If you have stumbled upon this site, you are probably searching for more information on the Enneagram. This site is an accumulation of thoughts and ideas regarding the Enneagram as I've developed them over the years through a series of online discussions, reading on it, and personal reflection
As you may have known, the Enneagram has been passed down through oral tradition and then has also been handed over from author to author (online and offline), with each presenting their own take on it, and even their own version of it, some more vague than others.
This can be problematic when trying to hone in on what exactly the Enneagram is and what each type gets at. For this reason, this site is an attempt to really arrange these thoughts and ideas into an approach to the Enneagram that can present itself in a cohesive manner and places emphasis on what is most fundamental to it (and each type). By doing so, the end result should be a take on the Enneagram that cuts down on what seems to have been, more or less, arbitrarily added to the system over the years, as well as keeping the vagueness to a minimum. Certain aspects, as a result, may not immediately resemble some of the prior takes and versions of the Enneagram. Nonetheless, we shall end up with a system that is clear, consistent, and cohesive, which is more workable than a picture that is too vague and open to interpretation.
